Week of May 9th — JV Girls’ Game away at Choate on Friday, May 13

Wednesday’s practice will end a bit early , at 4:20 pm.
On Friday, May 13th, we have a jv girls’ game away at Choate. Bus time is tentatively set for 2:00 pm but please stay posted as Choate is confirming referees and the time may change slightly. Coaches will discuss the roster at practice but all girls are welcome, whether to play or cheer.
As a result, there will be no practice on Friday.
Saturday’s practice will feature a guest coach, Theo Sullivan, the Head Coach for Staples boys’ water polo. Practice will be the usual time, 8:30 to 10:30 am.
Change in Bus Time for East Lyme Games, May 7

For the Hopkins girls’ game: Please be at the pool by 3:30 in your suits.
For the East Lyme Coed Games: Please be at the pool by 4 pm for a 4:15 bus. Please bring snacks for the trip and money for a possible food stop.

Coed Round Robin on Saturday Night, May 7th

We have been invited to attend a coed “round robin” at East Lyme High School this Saturday night, May 7. We will have the opportunity to play two relatively new coed teams — East Lyme High School and Wethersfield High School. Each team will likely play two games each or some combination of short games. The games will start at 6 pm so the bus will leave around 4 pm. The games will likely end around 9 pm. Details to be confirmed. Because we also have a girls’ home game that same afternoon, Coaches will divide up the girls and this will provide everyone with an opportunity to play at either site.
Please let Coach Laux or Brandon know if you are able to make it. Boys please let Daniel Nussbaum know who can attend.
May 21st Girls Tournament at Hopkins — Mark Your Calendars

The annual girls’ tournament at Hopkins is confirmed for Satruday, May 21st. The four teams attending will be Hopkins, Williston Northampton, Suffield and Staples. Please mark your calendars.
WE REALIZE THAT THIS IS THE DATE OF JUNIOR PROM. Hopkins also has their Junior Prom on the same day. As a result, they are planning on starting and ending the tournament earlier and will likely play shorter(6 minute) quarters.
Week of May 2nd – Friday Pasta Dinner and Saturday Home Game

We have a home game vs. Hopkins this Saturday starting at 4 pm and a pasta dinner the nigth before hosted by the Mafilios family. Their address is 26 Long Lots Road. Thanks to the Mafilios for their hospitality!
